Exposed aggregate is a type of concrete where the top layer of the cement paste is removed to uncover decorative coarse aggregate. Once the mixture is settled into place within the forms, the topcoat is removed. Because of its durability and skid resistance, an exposed aggregate finish is ideal for most flatwork. This is our most popular type of finish.
The concrete is topped off with a sealer which gives it a cleaner and shinny finish and ensures that the surface is protected and prevents stains.
The exposed aggregate comes with a stamped border. The colour of the border and the "nosing" is chosen by the client and we offer many different colours to pick from!
